There are individuals out there who really loves to eat sweet food and sugary desserts! One of the top lists that most people love to is Red Velvet cake. In which it is a combination of cherry and chocolate cake mixture with a touch of love by the cook. Today, TPS gotcha back on how to make your DIY Red Velvet cupcakes!
Red Velvet Cupcakes Ingredients
(2 and 1/2) cups all-purpose flour
(1 and 1/2) cups white sugar
(1) One teaspoon baking soda
(1) One tablespoon cocoa powder
(1) One teaspoon salt
(1) One cup buttermilk (1 cup milk + 1 tablespoon vinegar)
(1 and 1/2) cups vegetable oil
(2) large eggs
(1) One teaspoon white distilled vinegar
(1) One teaspoon vanilla extract
(2) tablespoons red food coloring
(8) ounces cream cheese
(1/2) cup butter
(4) cups powdered sugar
(1) One teaspoon vanilla extract
How to make?
1. Preheat your own oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C).
2. Sift together the following: flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder.
3. In another bowl, mix together the following: buttermilk, vegetable oil, eggs, vanilla extract, food coloring, and vinegar.
4. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients gradually.
5. Line up your 24 muffin pans with cupcake papers and fill each liner with the batter until 3/4 full. Bake for 20 to 22 minutes and let cool before icing.
6. For making the Icing: Cream butter and cream cheese until fluffy texture is achieved.
7. Sift powdered sugar in a separate bowl.
8. Gradually add powdered sugar to the butter and cream cheese.
9. Add vanilla extract to add good yummy smell.
10. Mix until light and fluffy, scraping the bowl a few times.
11. Ice the cupcakes according to your own preference.
